The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of nearly 14,000 professional women of color in 283 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

Let me introduce you to the Angel City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.  Angel City is 1 of 288 chapters of The Links, Incorporated. Our membership consists of nearly 50 professional women of color. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

The Achiever Program (1982-Present)

The Angel City Chapter is extremely proud of our award-winning Achiever Program, which has served the Los Angeles community supporting male African American high school seniors prepare for college and achieve their life goals. The focus is to prepare these young men for the challenges of life with an emphasis on contributing to society and their community. Substantial scholarships and awards are a keynote of the program, over 3 million dollars, in scholarships and awards, has been given since 1982.
