The Links, Incorporated, Angel City (CA)

Welcome. The Angel City Links Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is very proud of our award-winning Achiever Program, which has served the Los Angeles community, supporting male African American high school seniors prepare for college and achieve their life goals. The focus is to prepare these young men, for the challenges of life, with an emphasis on contributing to society and their community.  They receive assistance with college preparation, advice on entrepreneurial skills, participate in motivational workshops, including STEM, social responsibility and guidance in community involvement.

We are proud of the 1,238 young men who have successfully completed the program and continue to commit to their life long goals. Substantial scholarship’s and awards are a key note of the program. Over 3 million dollars, in scholarships and awards, has been given since 1982. Each young man interacts and bonds with male role models from the community who often work in the profession that the young man wishes to pursue. The focus is to prepare them for the challenges of life, with an emphasis on contributing to society and their community.

 The Achiever Program has been recognized by the Los Angeles City Council; won National and Area Link Program Awards and has been featured on local and national television programs. We are proud of our Achiever Program and hope you’ll join us in supporting these deserving young African American high school males, in achieving their life goals.
